Ms. Parlagreco is an established attorney and the founder of Parlagreco Law LLC in Miami, Florida. As the president and owner since 1989, she has dedicated herself to providing exceptional legal services while working on amicus briefs. Ms. Parlagreco’s expertise in forensic consulting and litigation has been instrumental in her ability to navigate intricate cases.
In addition to her work at Parlagreco Law LLC, Ms. Parlagreco served as an of counsel at Sinsheimer & Associates in Boston, Massachusetts, from 2014 to 2020. During this time, she selected cases of interest that allowed her to handle complex appeals in first-degree murder cases and complex civil matters.
Ms. Parlagreco’s illustrious career in law began with her academic pursuits. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications, politics and law from Emerson College in 1985 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from Suffolk University in 1989. While pursuing her law degree, she was active with the Securities Law Moot Court Team. Ms. Parlagreco was admitted to practice by the Massachusetts Bar Association, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Her education laid the foundation for her legal acumen and contributed significantly to her success in complex legal matters.
In addition to her extensive education, Ms. Parlagreco’s dedication to justice is further exemplified by her involvement with professional organizations, such as the Federal Bar Association and the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She is also actively engaged in civic initiatives. Ms. Parlagreco has served as the general counsel for the New England Kid Actors Group since 2011, and previously served on the board of directors for Youth Pro Musica from 2009 to 2012, where she was instrumental in guiding the organization through a critical transition and reorganization.
Ms. Parlagreco’s passion for advocacy extends to her creative pursuits. She authored ‘The Reemergence of Substantive Due Process as a Constitutional Tort,’ published by the New England Law Review in 1990. She has also been featured by IBTimes LLC and The Village Voice. Moreover, Ms. Parlagreco’s insights have been shared through podcast interviews like “Entrepreneurs on Fire with John Lee Dumas.”
A distinguished career marked by notable achievements, Ms. Parlagreco secured a $35 million verdict in a challenging car crash case involving three teenagers. She also played a pivotal role in overturning a wrongful murder conviction from 1986, resulting in a $13 million judgment against the Commonwealth. In recognition of her contributions, Ms. Parlagreco has received several accolades, such as Leaders in the Law in 2025 and several Book Awards from Suffolk University Law School.
Looking ahead, Ms. Parlagreco aims to see the documentary film “The Reinvention of Chad Marks” come to fruition. The film chronicles the story of a man who transformed his life during a 40-year prison sentence and assisted many fellow inmates along the way. Ms. Parlagreco is also writing a book about what she refers to as an impossible case that she handled. Additionally, she remains committed to advocating for science-based evidence reforms in courts while continuing her work as a thought leader in the legal field.
