With nearly two decades of experience, Mr. Arzberger has built a distinguished career in legal services, specializing in corporate law and litigation. He currently serves as senior vice president of legal and compliance at Everise, a role he has held since 2024. In this capacity, he oversees a wide range of corporate matters, addressing employment issues, conducting corporate contract reviews, and acting as the company’s HIPAA compliance officer. Additionally, he manages real estate matters, such as lease agreements, represents the company in arbitration and litigation for employment disputes, and reviews master service agreements, lease agreements, and employment matters involving Title VII issues and employee disputes.
Mr. Arzberger’s previous experience includes roles as vice president of legal and compliance at Everise from 2021 to 2024, senior attorney at The Russell Friedman Law Group LLP from 2019 to 2021, and managing partner at Arzberger & Associates PC from 2013 to 2019. He also served as village prosecutor for the Incorporated Village of Manorhaven from 2014 to 2016, associate attorney at Helwig Henderson, LLP from 2012 to 2013, trial attorney with Nationwide Insurance Company from 2010 to 2012, and associate attorney at McDonnell & Adels PLLC from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct professor at St. John’s University. Outside of his professional roles, he dedicates his time to Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding innovative research focused on finding better treatments and cures for blood cancers and was honored with the Everise Hall of Fame Award for his contributions to the field.
Laying a solid educational foundation for his accomplishments, Mr. Arzberger earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy, politics, and law from Binghamton University in 2004, a juris doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2007, and a Master of Science in negotiation and conflict resolution from Columbia University in 2014. His bar admissions include the Nassau County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. Reflecting on his journey, he has been practicing law since 2007, with the majority of his career spent at law firms in the New York metro area. About three years ago, he transitioned to Everise, where he leveraged his experience as both a litigator and a transactional attorney with a focus on contract review and analysis. This shift to in-house counsel has allowed him to apply his transactional expertise in a dynamic new context at Everise. He takes great pride in the company’s significant growth over a relatively short period and the legal department’s impressive ability to keep pace with this expansion.
Mr. Arzberger attributes his success to his family, especially his wife and children, who continually inspire and motivate him. He also notes that his self-driven nature, combined with this family support, has been essential to his achievements. In the coming years, he aims to further expand Everise and deepen his role as general counsel, feeling he has truly found his niche within the company and is eager to see how his role and personal growth will evolve over time.
