Mr. Woodside has tried over 100 major civil jury and non-jury trials to verdict, and has argued over 55 appeals in the intermediate appellate courts. In addition to employment matters, Mr. Woodside has tried major cases in the areas of civil rights, federal and state Constitutional law, construction, contract, commercial and business law, equity, injunctions, legal malpractice and personal injury. He has appeared pro hac vice as trial counsel in Delaware, District of Columbia, Missouri, Maryland, and West Virginia.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Woodside pursued an education at the Gettysburg College, where he obtained an AB degree in economics in 1977. He continued his academic efforts at the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, earning a Juris Doctor in 1985. As a commitment to his field, he has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the Montgomery Bar Association. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Woodside has served on the boards of the East Falls Business Association, which appointed him as president, the East Falls Community Development Corporation and the East Falls Community Council. He is a current vice president of the Pennsylvania Bible Society, and its past president from 2005 to 2009.

Well-regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Woodside has a peer-review rating of Distinguished. He has been recognized as one of Top-Rated Lawyers in Pennsylvania in 2023, a Lawyer of Distinction in 2019 and among the Top 1 Percent of America’s Most Honored Professionals in 2023. Among his professional accomplishments, he is most proud of the range of cases he has litigated which have impacted the course of American law as reported legal precedent. Reflecting on a long career, he attributes much of his success to his superlative education, the support of his family and peers, and his passion for his specialty, especially as an independent practitioner trying cases at the highest level of federal and state courts. Looking toward the future, Mr. Woodside aspires to continually litigate complex cases and hopes to make significant strides in American jurisprudence as a trial lawyer.
