Cheryl R. Lee has worked in law, real estate and the academic world. She graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 1981, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in communications and journalism in group and public communication. She graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in transactional concentration in 1985. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1991 and the State Bar of Michigan in 1997. She is also a bar-admitted member of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Ms. Lee is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California and has a lifetime teaching credential in marketing, business & law from the California Community Colleges system, which includes more than 110 accredited colleges. Since 2008, she has worked as the general counsel and secretary for the board of directors of JAIR Learning. Previously, she was a partner at the firm Thompson, William & Associates from 1993 to 1996 and assistance corporate counsel for Great American Bank from 1985 to 1991. She additionally served as the aviation law clerk for the Allegheny County Department of Aviation and the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport from 1982 to 1985. Ms. Lee is also active as an adjunct professor for San Diego City College, San Diego State University, Grossmont College and Miramar College, among many other teaching credentials.
