Michael J. Epstein, Managing Partner at The Epstein Law Firm, P.A., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in litigation.
From watching his father excel as a lawyer, consistently helping the common person prevail against big corporations, Mr. Epstein desired to practice law and help the underdog. He received a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Hamilton College in 1993 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1996. Since 2000, he has served as managing partner of The Epstein Law Firm, P.A., where he specializes in personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, legal malpractice, employment law, civil litigation and commercial litigation. Prior, Mr. Epstein gained experience as a law clerk for the Honorable Marie L. Garibaldi of the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Honorable Alfred M. Wolin of the U.S. District Court of New Jersey in the late 1990s. He recalls the two provided great guidance and had tremendous impacts on his career.
Finding great success in his career, Mr. Epstein has been named to the Super Lawyers list published by Thomson Reuters since 2009, the Top 100 List for Super Lawyers since 2014 and to Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2006 to 2008. In addition, he was named to U.S. News’ Best Lawyers and to the Top 10 Personal Injury Leaders Under 40. To remain abreast in his industry, Mr. Epstein maintains affiliation with the Bergen County Bar Association as co-chair of the civil practice committee and a bench bar committee member, having formerly been a past president, first and second vice president, treasurer and trustee. He is also involved with the New Jersey Association of Justice as a member of the board of governors, co-chair of the Amicus committee and member of the civil practice committee, as well as the Association of County Bar Presidents, of which he was president from 2016 to 2018. Looking ahead, Mr. Epstein wishes to continue his practice and provide creative solutions while doing what is morally and ethically right for his clients.
