Inspired by his father, who excelled as a prestigious lawyer, Mr. Yarowsky wished to follow the same path for as long as he could remember. Subsequent to his high school graduation, he attended the University of Michigan, graduating in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts in literature, science and arts. There, he acquired a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1977 and became certified to practice law in the District of Columbia, consequently beginning his career.
Mr. Yarowsky was attracted to a career in law because of the intellectually stimulating work. He began his career in 1975 as a summer associate at the Federal Public Defender’s Office. In the years that followed, he acted as an associate for law firms in both California and Washington. In 1991, Mr. Yarowsky became a member of the general counsel for the United States House Judiciary Committee. Proving himself to be highly skilled and hardworking, he became a member of the special counsel to the President at the White House in 1995. From 1998 until 2013, Mr. Yarowsky excelled as a partner at the policy practice group, Patton Boggs LLP. Currently, he continues to demonstrate success as a partner in the anti-trust department at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr LLP, where he has been since 2013.
Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Yarowsky has served as the vice-chair for the Antitrust Modernization Commission since 2004. A member of the National Commission on Crime since 1995, he has been named a Top Lobbyist by The Hill consecutively since 2008.
