Coming from a family of 15 attorneys, Mr. White was surrounded by the law profession as a young child. Following in their footsteps, he pursued a formal education at the Southern Arkansas University earning a Bachelor of Science in History in 1983. Six years later, he secured a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Oklahoma City University. Consequently, he was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas in 1987. During this time, Mr. White began his career as an associate with Dean White in Canton, Texas, from 1986 to 1990. Subsequently, he accepted the position of an assistant district attorney for Van Zandt County in Canton for three years, before becoming a partner at Elliott Elliott & White in Canton, between 1994 and 1997.
As he progressed through his career, Mr. White worked as an attorney for a private practice in Canton from 1997 to 2011, and has since contributed of counsel with R. Paul Elliott, Attorney at Law, P.C. In addition to his primary endeavors, he has served on the disciplinary board for Texas Lawyers between 1996 and 2002. To remain abreast of developments in the legal field, he maintained affiliation with the Van Zandt County Bar Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the State Bar of Texas. An exceptional Marquis listee, Mr. White has been selected for inclusion in editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
