In this role, she represents the agency in court for various child abuse and neglect cases while managing a caseload of approximately 150 complex cases. Ms. Polce’s responsibilities also include leading a team of three attorneys and training new attorneys to handle complex cases independently. Her commitment to her work is evident in her holistic approach to each case, ensuring that all facets of a situation are considered to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.

Before her current position, Ms. Polce held several roles with her organization. She was a level II attorney from 2022 to 2024, following her role as a level I agency attorney between 2021 and 2022. Her journey with the NYC Administration for Children’s Services began as an agency attorney intern from 2019 to 2021. Before embarking on her legal career, Ms. Polce gained valuable experience as a site manager at New York Law School’s Pieper Bar Review in 2019 and as a student attorney at John Jay Legal Services from 2018 to 2019.

Ms. Polce’s academic background laid a strong foundation for her career achievements. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from York College in 2015, where she became active with the National Society of Leadership and Success and Sigma Alpha Pi, followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2019. While in law school, Ms. Polce was a campus fellow of the New York State Bar Association and the SBA as a class representative for the Pieper Bar Review. Her education was further complemented by professional certifications, such as Westlaw Next certification from Thomson Reuters and a professional research certification from LexisNexis. Ms. Polce was admitted to practice by the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations.

Throughout her career, Ms. Polce has been actively involved in professional organizations, including the New York City Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Meanwhile, her dedication to community service is reflected in her volunteer work with initiatives like the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge and various community drives.

In recognition of her community contributions, Ms. Polce was honored to receive an Award for Commitment to Community Service by the National Society of Leadership and Success in 2016. She attributes much of her success to the mentorship she received throughout her career from fellow attorneys, judges and professionals across various fields. This network has provided invaluable guidance and support, enabling Ms. Polce to navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.
