Before establishing Rubin Family Law LLC, Mr. Rubin was a partner at Marple Rubin Family Law LLC in Atlanta from 2018 to 2022. During this period, he continued to build his reputation as a leading family law practitioner, handling complex cases and providing strategic counsel to clients navigating challenging legal matters.
Between 2011 and 2018, Mr. Rubin was a partner at Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle LLC. His tenure at this firm enabled him to refine his litigation skills and expand his professional network within the legal community. Mr. Rubin was instrumental in managing high-stakes family law cases, making significant contributions to the firm’s growth and success.
Mr. Rubin began as an associate at Lawler Green Givelber & Prinz LLC in 2008. In this foundational role, he gained valuable experience in all aspects of family law practice. He developed a meticulous attention to detail that would become a hallmark of his professional journey.
Playing a significant role in shaping his legal career, Mr. Rubin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in information technology and a Master of Science in information systems technology at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., graduating in 2001. He later returned to college, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Emory University in 2008, which equipped him with a strong foundation in legal principles and practice. That same year, Mr. Rubin was admitted to practice by the State Bar of Georgia.
Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Rubin has been actively involved in several industry-related organizations. He was elected as a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an honor reserved for the top tier of family law attorneys nationwide, where he also serves as a board member for its Georgia chapter. He is also a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, having been inducted in 2022, and serves as a board member for the family law section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Furthermore, Mr. Rubin is a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law American Inn of Court and is active in the family law section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Cobb County Bar Association.
Mr. Rubin’s achievements have been recognized through numerous awards and honors. In 2025, he was named among Doyle’s Guide’s Preeminent Family/Matrimonial Divorce Lawyers in Atlanta. He has also been included in Super Lawyers’ Top 100 for Georgia, has been listed by Best Lawyers in America for family law practice every year since 2019, and was recognized by Super Lawyers Georgia from 2020 through 2024. Additional accolades include being named Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine for multiple years and earning Rising Star status from Super Lawyers in 2017 and 2018.
