Mr. Worley is an esteemed managing attorney at Gottreich Grace & Thompson, where he has been instrumental in handling family law, criminal law, administrative law and driving while intoxicated cases. Best known for handling domestic relations matters, he frequently represents police officers before the Citizens Organization for Police Accountability and the Chicago Police Internal Review Board.
Having been in the field for over 20 years, Mr. Worley’s career has evolved from his early days, beginning as an assistant state attorney for the child enforcement division of the Cook County State Attorney’s Office from 2004 to 2006. He served in the Maywood Courthouse of the Cook County State Attorney’s Office in the same capacity between 2006 and 2008. Mr. Worley was also an assistant state attorney for the county’s preliminary hearing and grand jury division from 2008 to 2009 and the felony review department in 2009. Moreover, he clerked for Judge Deborah Mary Dooling and Judge Anna Dimakopoulos during his tenure. As a prosecutor, Mr. Worley focused mainly on criminal cases.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Mr. Worley received a Bachelor of Science in psychology, a Master of Social Work and a Doctor of Jurisprudence. He was subsequently admitted to practice by the Illinois Bar Association and remains active in the Illinois State Bar to remain abreast of industry trends. Civically, Mr. Worley is instrumental on the University of Tennessee’s alum board and Teen Peace in Nashville, Tennessee, as a founding program director.
