In addition, she serves as a board member of the finance committee for the Women’s Center of Montgomery County and is a member of the Texas Bar Association. Reflecting on her career, Ms. Buck credits her love of history for drawing her to the field of law, as she was driven by a desire to understand how historical events influenced legal changes and why people adhered to laws. She attributes her success to persistent effort and a continuous willingness to learn and believes that being open to change and flexible enough to switch industries or job types is essential for personal growth. Looking ahead, she aims to develop a deeper understanding of the oil and gas industry, which she recently joined. Her primary focus is to deliver value to her clients, secure their assets from a contractual standpoint, and enhance her professional growth and knowledge. In advising future professionals, she stresses the importance of prioritizing work-life balance and managing mental health to stay focused, productive, and happy in both areas.
