Ms. Rodriguez, a talented and tenured attorney, founded Vires Law Group PLLC in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 222. Her South Florida-based law firm concentrates on civil litigation, representing clients on a wide range of matters such as intellectual property, employment discrimination, immigration, human and civil rights violations, and more. Ms. Rodriguez oversees the management side of her business. She also mentors junior attorneys, guiding them on effective strategies for analyzing their cases to achieve optimal client outcomes. Ms. Rodriguez’s tenacity and extensive background have set her apart from other law firms, where she strives to fight hard to protect their rights while providing the utmost attention to every case.
Before establishing Vires Law Group LLC, Ms. Rodriguez began her career as a legal assistant while working toward her law degree. She was then hired by Wilkie, Farr & Gallagher in 2006 as a staff attorney. She also interned for the Honorable Trent Franks from 2008 to 2009. Furthermore, Ms. Rodriguez garnered experience as a national director for CleanUpOurCongress.org in 2010 and as an attorney and partner at Farkas + Toikka LLP between 2009 and 2013 and 2014 and 2022, respectively. As a partner, Ms. Rodriguez significantly contributed to the firm’s growth in South Florida.
Ms. Rodriguez’s early years in Washington, D.C., included gaining expertise in drafting proposed legislation regarding refugees and immigrants. She was also involved with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, a federal law prohibiting U.S. citizens and entities from bribing foreign government officials to benefit their business interests. Moreover, she gained experience in several Securities Exchange Commission private company investigations.
However, Ms. Rodriguez’s most notable achievement has been her recent involvement in seeking criminal investigation and prosecution for civil rights abuses since 2020. As such, she has provided state Attorneys General with evidence of numerous state-level crimes arising from civil rights violations, resulting in hospital patient injury and death. This remarkable work assists hundreds of thousands of victims nationwide in pursuing justice within the law enforcement system.
In preparation for her career, Ms. Rodriguez attended Wheaton College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in communications with a minor in Spanish in 1999. Subsequently, she received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Rutgers University in 2004. Ms. Rodriguez has been admitted to practice by the New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, D.C. and Florida Bar Associations, the U.S. District Court for the District of D.C., the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Outside of her primary career objectives, Ms. Rodriguez serves on the board of several nonprofit organizations. She is also active in her church. Ms. Rodriguez credits her success to her faith and the support of her parents and family throughout her career. She thoroughly believes in upholding the rule of law, truth and honor toward one another.
In the coming years, Ms. Rodriguez intends to encourage other professionals to pursue legal careers in consumer protection, medical patient rights, parental rights, and employee protection, areas of which she is passionate about protecting. Additionally, she plans to expand her practice area while growing her firm to include additional attorneys. She presently has one highly skilled attorney working alongside her at her Florida-based firm. Ultimately, Ms. Rodriguez’s goal is to protect the public, consumers and small businesses from unlawful practices that hinder their ability to build successful enterprises and support their families due to various circumstances.
