During this time, she focused her practice on negotiating for buyers and sellers in real estate transactions and participating in the sale or lease of properties for Blue Ribbon Real Estate Inc. Ms. Lettau also excelled as an of counsel at American Credit Counselors Inc. between 2004 and 2005, worked as an attorney at Lerner & Greenberg PA from 2001 to 2004, and was a legal liaison at Tishman Speyer Properties of Berlin LP between 1992 and 1994. Besides her legal work, she gained experience in the classroom as an adjunct faculty member and lecturer at Humboldt University of Berlin from 1997 to 1998.

In preparation for her future, Ms. Lettau received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Pacific Lutheran University in 1982 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Seattle University in 1987. She has been admitted to practice by the Florida Bar Association and remains abreast of current legal trends as a member of the American Bar Association.

Ms. Lettau has been heavily engaged in community organizations and initiatives. She has been active as the co-founder and chair of the Alcee Hastings Black-Jewish Alliance since 2018 and an advisory board member for the Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County Inc. since 2019. Previously, she served as a board member and chair of the Jewish Federation of Broward County, Florida, and as a trustee and chair of the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Broward County.

Ms. Lettau, a well-written writer, lent her expertise as an assistant editor for various professional journals in Kiel between 1988 and 1992. She also contributed to “Habitat” in 1991.

In light of her success, Ms. Lettau has garnered several accolades for her professional and civic work, including a Top 100 Visionaries Award for 2020-2021 from the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare and a Shine A Light award from the Jewish Federation of Broward County in 2023. Ms. Lettau attributes her accomplishments to her ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals.
