Armed with a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 1980, he laid the groundwork for his subsequent success. His career path has been a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and legal acumen. Mr. Neff also co-authored seminal works such as “NAFTA: Protecting and Enforcing Intellectual Property Rights in North America” and “Licensing Technology and Content: Important Considerations” in 1994. His contributions extend beyond the written word, as he has been recognized with prestigious awards, including first prize from the Brazilian Software Association and a Fullbright Scholarship in Anthropology from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.
Mr. Neff attributes his success to a combination of intelligence, writing skills, negotiation prowess, interpersonal skills, public speaking abilities, and a client-centric focus. His decision to enter the legal profession and focus on technology was fueled by a desire to leverage his skills and expertise in a rapidly evolving industry. His proudest achievements include building a reputable firm representing top-tier technology companies and effecting change in copyright laws, particularly in collaboration with Latin American countries. Looking ahead, Mr. Neff envisions continued success within his firm, with a focus on spending quality time with his family and pursuing personal interests such as cycling and exploring artificial intelligence.
