Dinorah D. Scholl, senior paralegal, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in personal injury law.
With 29 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Scholl has excelled as a senior paralegal working confidentially since 2020. In her role, she assists several attorneys who work at Susman Godfrey. She supports the attorneys, partners, and associates with the firm, assists with preparing for mediations, depositions, and hearings, and communicates with clients, insurance adjusters, experts, and vendors. Furthermore, she translates any necessary documents that may be in Spanish into English.
Ms. Scholl began her career working as a paralegal at multiple legal firms, including Phillips & Akers from 2001 to 2007, The Freeman Law Firm, P.C. from 2007 to 2012, Caldwell Boudreaux Lefler PLLC from 2017 to 2018, and Serpe, Jones, Andrews, Callender & Bell, PLLC from 2019 to 2020. She served as senior paralegal and operations manager at Lee Murphy Law Firm from 2012 to 2014. She established herself as a senior paralegal at Arnold & Itkin, LLP from 2014 to 2017 before transitioning to the role of litigation paralegal at Sheehy, Ware & Pappas from 2018 to 2019.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Scholl pursued an education at LeTourneau University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in management and operations in 2014. She obtained a paralegal certification from the Southwestern Paralegal Institute in 2001. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association.
Ms. Scholl attributes her success to her relationships with several of the attorneys she worked for, some of whom took her under their wing and taught her a great deal. It opened up not only a path for her in the industry but also her mind. In the immediate future, her goals and aspirations are to give back to her community by serving as a resource for people who want to discuss what to do in various scenarios. She may be a crucial point of direction for them regarding people with disabilities and what is accessible to them. She will advocate for others and educate them just like she was when she started in the field.
