Stefan Hagner, Esq., senior counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in law.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Hagner pursued an education at Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich, graduating in 1998. He concluded his studies at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, earning a Master of Laws in American and comparative law in 2003. He began his career as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP in 2006. He subsequently served as mid-level associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from 2007 to 2011 as well as legal secondments to leading in-house legal departments at large multi-nationals.
With more than 18 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Hagner has excelled as senior counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright since 2011. In this position, he utilizes his expertise in corporate law, reps & warranties insurance and regulatory work for insurance company clients while reviewing due diligence materials, writing reports and providing legal advice and risk assessments to his clients. Notably, Mr. Hagner has been licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas and the New York State Bar Association.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Hagner has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He found success with his written works, including “Settlements with the Management Board in Germany” and “The Board’s Role in Managing Ethics Risk.” Outside of these endeavors, he has provided his expertise to others via a number of presentations regarding various developments in the field of law. While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Hagner is incredibly proud of the opportunity to work at leading legal practices in Europe, Asia and the U.S., during which time he refined his expertise in corporate transactions, insurance regulatory and government contracts.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Hagner has accrued several accolades throughout his career, such as the Excellence in Corporate and Transactional Law Award through Lawyers of Distinction and a Certificate of Achievement in Federal Government Acquisition and Contract Management. He has attributed his success to the wide range of opportunities that have crossed his path as well as his ability to adapt to the needs of different clients.
