Mr. Larry is an attorney with specialized experience as a legal advisor to domestic and international privately- and publicly-held companies active in the energy industry. His professional focus is centered on corporate mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. Mr. Larry has counseled special purpose acquisition companies in connection with their acquisitions of target companies, and provided guidance in connection with Exchange Act reporting and corporate governance matters, including compliance with the rules of the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
Mr. Larry initially earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and history interdisciplinary studies from Vanderbilt University in 2014. He additionally acquired a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 2017. Mr. Larry also obtained a certificate of attendance for online executive education at Cambridge Judge Business School in 2022.
Before commencing his legal career in earnest, Mr. Larry participated in an internship at the Transgender Law Center in 2015 and a summer associate program at Bracewell LLP in 2016. After being admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2017, he was hired as a full-time associate by Bracewell LLP from 2017 to 2022. Since 2022, he has served as Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Paramount. Mr. Larry contributed an article to the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender and Society, titled “The Transgender Marriage Dilemma.”
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Mr. Larry has proudly contributed his time, energy, and legal expertise to LGBTQ+ causes. He was president of the board of the LGBTQIA+ Association of Vanderbilt Alumni from 2020 to 2022, and currently operates as a council-at-large member for the LGBT Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
