Following obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Mr. Rajek continued his education with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1974. Mr. Rajek has litigated over 4,000 DUI cases, including 20 involving homicide by intoxicated use of motor vehicle. Mr. Rajek maintains that his career highlight was the decade he spent as a district Attorney for prosecutors. The biggest case that he handled involved a triple murder where the culprit escaped from a maximum security prison. He claimed he was taking medication for alcoholism. He went to the bathroom, climbed up the window and never came back. He had he kidnapped the sheriff deputy in his squad car at gunpoint and drove away. When they finally caught him in Oregon two years later, he had the same murder weapon that he used in the triple homicide in Wisconsin. His gun had 16 cartridges missing. He was convicted and received three consecutive life sentences. As defense counsel, he points to his representation of National Football League coaches and players that had gotten in trouble. He has had approximately 250-350 jury trials in his career.
In the coming years, Mr. Rajek intends to acquire a teaching post at a law school, as his desire is to do something worthwhile by passing on some knowledge to aspiring attorneys.
