A partner of Oltman, Flynn & Kubler in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, since 1996, Mr. Kubler focuses his attention on patent law. Previously, he served the law firm as a consultant for six years while also maintaining a private practice, the Law Office of Frank L. Kubler, in Miami Lakes, Florida, between 1990 and 2005. At the inception of his career in 1986, he served as an associate of Dominik, Stein, Saccocio, Reese, Colitz & Van der Wall in Miami Lakes for four years.
Mr. Kubler holds an Associate of Arts from Miami-Dade Junior College from 1978, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from 1981, Bachelor of Arts in history from 1982, and Doctor of Jurisprudence from 1986, all from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Admitted to the Florida State Bar in 1986, he is also admitted before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th and Federal Circuits and the U.S. Patent Office.
A former president and vice president of the Patent Law Association of South Florida, Mr. Kubler is also a member of Mensa International, Tau Beta Pi, and Rotary International, where he is a past director and chairman of the scholarship committee. In his spare time, he enjoys reading historical articles, attending historical museums, running, antique phonographs and records, antiquing, and collecting old bottles.
