With nearly a decade of experience, Ms. Dotch has established a successful career in legal services, specializing in probate and estate planning, start-up services, and contract drafting for dispute resolution mediation. Since 2021, she has served as an attorney at The Esquiress LLC, where she handles various contracts under her firm. Additionally, she works as a contract attorney for the Alabama Education Association, representing teachers in administrative cases and disputes involving school boards and principals. Her experience also includes serving as a notary public in Alabama since 2014, city prosecutor for the City of Prichard from 2021 to 2024, attorney advisor for the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals from 2019 to 2024, of counsel at Beasley Allen Law Firm from 2016 to 2019, and law clerk for the 15th Judicial Circuit Court from 2015 to 2016. She held positions as an extern at the Alabama Attorney General’s Office and the Supreme Court of Alabama, and contributed to other roles, including customer service, advocacy and business leadership.
Laying a solid educational foundation, Ms. Dotch earned a Bachelor of Arts in public administration from Auburn University in 2011 and both a Master of Laws in alternative dispute resolution and trial advocacy and a Juris Doctor from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. She is admitted to the Alabama and Georgia state bars and actively practices in both states. Reflecting on her path, she began her career as a prosecutor at 31, handling approximately 3,000 cases, including numerous trials in Mobile’s trial court. Throughout her career, she has been honored with numerous accolades, including being a three-time Top 40 Under 40 by the National Association of Black Lawyers for Alabama, recognized by Mobile Bay Magazine in its 40 Under 40 list, and awarded Young, Gifted & Green 40 Under 40 by DC. She attributes her success to her faith and life experiences. Looking to the future, she is passionate about educating others and fostering greater understanding in the field.
