Mr. Kim, lauded for his expertise as a trial attorney, joined William Schwitzer & Associates PC in New York City in 2024 after initially working for the firm between 2014 and 2015 and from 2017 to 2021. Today, he focuses his practice on personal injury lawsuits, representing victims of automobile, construction and other types of accidents. His goal is to resolve cases and get the compensation his clients rightfully deserve for their pain and suffering. Leveraging his former experience, Mr. Kim was a trial attorney at Elefterakis, Elefterakis & Panek in New York City from 2021 to 2024. He also practiced law at several other New York City-based firms, including the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff PLLC and The Law Offices of Kim & Cha LLP since 2012.
A University of California Berkeley graduate, Mr. Kim received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and legal studies in 2005. Subsequently, he garnered a Doctor of Jurisprudence in corporate law from Yeshiva University in 2010 and became admitted to practice by the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations. Mr. Kim remains at the forefront of his industry as a prominent member of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York and the Asian American Bar Association of New York.
Passionate about the law since high school, Mr. Kim was fascinated by its intricacies and enjoyed learning about how the civil justice system works. Since becoming an attorney, he has found great rewards in the legal process, from understanding jury selection to advocating for clients. Each case he has undertaken has been unique and presents unique challenges, yet it is worth the hard work when he can make a difference in his clients’ lives. As he prepares for the future, Mr. Kim intends to open his own law firm in the next few years and continue expanding his network throughout New York and New Jersey.
