Leveraging many years of success in his field, Mr. Handin worked for several noteworthy law firms before opening his practice, beginning as an attorney for Ziegler, Murray, Gill, Clabby & Regan from 1967 to 1971, then as a partner at Fardella, Handin and Feldman PA between 1971 and 1978. He also excelled as the executive vice president and general manager at Sumcot of America Inc. from 1979 to 1983, and as the managing partner at Weinstein, Zimmerman & Handin PA between 1989 and 1991.
In preparation for his career in law, Mr. Handin received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Pennsylvania State University in 1965 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Brooklyn Law School in 1968. He has been admitted to practice by the New York and Florida Bar Associations, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Since earning his degrees, Mr. Handin has become involved in pro bono work for the Chabad of Southwest Coral Springs. He has also chaired the Tamarac Chamber of Commerce in Tamarac, Florida, where he has been recognized with several accolades for his contributions.
