As a mergers and acquisitions lawyer, he played a crucial role in the company’s sale to a private equity group in 2015. Following the sale, he was hired by the group and advanced to the roles of chief counsel and executive vice president. From 2018 to 2023, he served as the second-in-command of the company, which had over 500 employees, and during this period, revenues reached $750 million.
Mr. Miller attributes his success to the values instilled in him by his hardworking and honest Jamaican parents. He was born in Jamaica and raised in Canada, and he considers himself a two-time immigrant. His parents’ high expectations and belief that privilege comes with responsibility have profoundly shaped his approach to life and work. In the coming years, his primary goal is to ensure his daughter’s success by supporting her college graduation and entry into a top Master of Business Administration program, leading to a prominent position in a Fortune 500 company. Additionally, he plans to assume the role of chief executive officer by the end of the year and guide the company toward a successful exit strategy. As a board member, his experience and expertise are highly valued, and he is trusted to help grow and sell the company’s stock while ensuring its future success.
