From 2013 to 2015, he garnered experience as an assistant solicitor with the Fulton County Solicitor General’s Office.
In preparation for his career pursuits, Mr. Rucker graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting in 2001. He went on to obtain a Doctor of Jurisprudence in law from Georgia State University in 2012. Mr. Rucker is admitted to practice in Georgia and before state and federal courts.
Among his professional achievements, Mr. Rucker was named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. To keep abreast of advancements in his field, he is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Attributing his success to his ability to think outside of the box, Mr. Rucker leans on his life experience and talks to his clients as a friend, committing himself to obtaining the best results he can for them. Among his accomplishments, he is proudest of his trial verdicts, including a $10.8 million award for a woman affected by toxic molds in her apartment complex.
Mr. Rucker and his business partner Emanuel Dressie met during law school, and always planned to open a law firm together. Mr. Dressie handles civil cases, while Mr. Rucker handles criminal proceedings. In the coming years, Mr. Rucker plans to uplift his community through his nonprofit work while continuing to find success as an attorney. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his children.
