With nearly 25 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Caccavo has excelled as the founder, chief executive officer and general counsel for her eponymous boutique law firm, Caccavo Consulting LLC, since 2020. In these positions, she offers outsourced general counsel and property management services to clients such as investment banks and private fund managers. In the years prior, Ms. Caccavo found success as the vice president and associate general counsel with AQR Capital Management between 2011 and 2020.
From 2008 to 2011, Ms. Caccavo was active as an associate with Sidley Austin. She previously refined her skill set as a summer associate with Kean Miller in 2006 and Sidley Austin in 2007. Ms. Caccavo began her career as a law clerk with Harley Brown, Attorney at Law from 2000 to 2006.
To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Caccavo pursued an education at Louisiana State University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2005. She concluded her academic efforts at Southern University Law Center in 2008, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude. During this time, she was inducted to the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International and was appointed as the Valedictorian of her graduating class. Following these accomplishments, Ms. Caccavo became affiliated with the New York State Bar Administration.
Beyond her primary responsibilities, Ms. Caccavo has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her immediate circles. Since 2021, she has served as the head of legal for Windstream Partners, outsourced general counsel for Taika Capital and Oracle Alpha, and a legal consultant for Ontra. Likewise, she has utilized her administrative skills in additional industries as the owner and real estate developer with The Reserve Zachary since 2017 and the founder of The Best Wash in Town since 2019. Furthermore, Ms. Caccavo worked as a business operations consultant with Cypress Title in 2021, the owner and founder of Whimsical Alley from 2019 to 2023, a contract attorney with Innocap in 2023, and both the co-founder and chief product officer of Koobrik Law in 2024.
As a testament to her commitment to her community, Ms. Caccavo has contributed to her local church and community in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has also supported various fundraisers and auctions to benefit her daughter’s school. The former editor for the Southern University Law Review, Ms. Caccavo likewise provided her expertise to the aforementioned journal through her article, “Louisiana Revised Statutes 23:967: The Questionable Interpretation of Louisiana’s Whistleblower Statute and a Solution for the Courts.”
Ms. Caccavo has attributed her success to her exceptional network of colleagues and clients, which exposes her to a wealth of knowledge and expertise and enables her to maintain stellar relationships with her collaborators. She is also grateful for her positive reputation in her field, which is enforced by her hard work, outstanding results, and her client satisfaction. Driven by her decision to operate independently following her tenure with AQR Capital Management, Ms. Caccavo subsequently grew Caccavo Consulting to 15 employees and multiple businesses, including real estate developments, retail stores, and even an artificial intelligence-driven legal analysis system.
Initially drawn to the field of architecture, Ms. Caccavo remains open to new opportunities, as her approach is rooted in living in the present moment and her love for challenges. She is also incredibly motivated by her dedication to her family, as she proudly goes above and beyond to maintain her happy marriage and her satisfying relationship with her daughter. Looking toward the future, Ms. Caccavo hopes to launch a start-up focusing on a business-to-business analysis tool that utilizes artificial intelligence developed by a former colleague.
