With over a decade of service to his credit in the legal profession, Mr. Foster has found success in his role at the Riverwest Law Firm, a legal practice dedicated to offering the highest quality representation in bankruptcy law to clients throughout the Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties. Working alongside his colleague, Brendan Corcoran, Mr. Foster specializes in chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy law, as well as landlord-tenant and business law. He also maintains responsibility for all client interactions throughout the bankruptcy or litigation process.
Mr. Foster previously served as a criminal prosecutor for the State Courts of Iowa, where his efforts were focused on cases involving traffic violations and possession. During an earlier period of his career, he also reviewed debt transactions on behalf of several local banks in Milwaukee, and consulted with various law firms on the subject of bankruptcy filing. In addition to his work in legal service, Mr. Foster has also worked as a computer technician for Digital Bridge and an associate professor of philosophy at Bryant and Stratton College, where he taught logic and critical thinking skills to students from 2012 to 2019.
Mr. Foster initially studied at Iowa State University, from which he attained a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and psychology in 2008. Following this accomplishment, he went on to the University of Iowa, where he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Arts in philosophy in 2011. As a legal professional, Mr. Foster has been admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin and the Eastern District of Wisconsin Federal Courts.
Well-regarded for his achievements, Mr. Foster qualified as a finalist for the “Business Lawyer” category for Shepherd Express’ Best of Milwaukee in 2018. Outside of his primary endeavors, he has also established himself as a prolific presence in the Riverwest neighborhood, where he volunteers for numerous community initiatives.
