Mr. Manson initially studied commerce at the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1970. Following this accomplishment, he went on to pursue legal coursework at Emory University, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1974. Throughout the course of his subsequent career, he is most proud to have played an instrumental role in the release of an Iranian women who had been imprisoned in Tehran on suspicion of being a spy. Despite the challenges inherent in her lack of citizenship, as well as a lack of involvement from the Armenian government, Mr. Manson’s firm was able to leverage their previous representation of Kirk Kerkorian and his foundation to ultimately convince the government of Armenia to secure her freedom. It was a long and difficult process, but Mr. Manson’s dedication and perseverance ultimately led to a positive outcome for the woman and her family.
