Hoeveler of the Southern District of Florida, Mr. Manos prospered in practice at large national and international Florida-based law firms Fowler White, Shutts & Bowen, Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, and Kluger Peretz Kaplan & Berlin. Since 2009, he has provided superior service as attorney and counselor at law Manos Schenk, PL, where he has also served as managing partner since 2012. Mr. Manos’ practice specializes in commercial litigation, business disputes, real estate, construction, contracts, entertainment law, defamation and serious personal injury in the Miami area. Among his greatest successes have been serving with the legal team that won a $5.4 million verdict against a major aircraft company, a $33 million verdict against an oil company, a $37.2 million verdict on a large defamation suit involving a Nicaraguan banker, and $1.01 billion in a class action lawsuit involving 600,000 physicians. A verdict he won for $37.2 million in 2006, which he considers to be a career highlight, ranks as the 44th highest jury award in the country.
Mr. Manos credits his success to his wife, who was very supportive and gently guided steered him to a career path in law. The moment her daughter, Bianca, came into the world, everything changed, as all he wanted was for her to be proud of him. He is additionally pleased with a pro bono case in which he represented two elderly women who almost lost their home to a mortgage foreclosure by someone who turned to be an unscrupulous lender. After researching the case, he found numerous irregularities and improprieties on the part of the lender, and it resulted in the women keeping their home. In the coming years, Mr. Manos hopes to continue his law practice and bring positive influence to bear upon how practitioners in his field treat each other.
