Ms. Reese’s illustrious career spans two decades, culminating in her role as the owner and attorney of Reese Law Firm LLC in her home state of Georgia. A boutique law firm, she focuses her practice on areas including family law, domestic disputes, criminal defense, personal injury and workers’ compensation law. Serving as both an attorney and owner of her firm, Ms. Reese has spent over 15 years building a formidable reputation for her work, gaining significant name recognition and respect among colleagues, clients and judges.
Before opening her own practice, Ms. Reese served as an attorney at Stearns-Montgomery & Associates, a family law practice in Marietta, Georgia, for two years. She also spent two previous years representing indigent citizens in criminal offense and as a public defender at the Fulton County Public Defender’s Office. Earlier, Ms. Reese excelled for a year as an attorney with West Law and Associates LLC. In addition to her work in the field, Ms. Reese has shared her knowledge as an adjunct professor at Westwood College in Aurora, Colorado, and Brown Mackie College in Miramar, Florida.
In preparation for her future, Ms. Reese obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in criminal justice from Georgia Southern University in 2001. Subsequently, she received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2004. These educational foundations have been instrumental in shaping Ms. Reese’s legal acumen and expertise.
Ms. Reese attributes much of her success to the support of her family and friends, as well as to the trust her clients have placed in her with their legal matters. Her mother, Sheila Campbell, has been a profound influence on her life, demonstrating perseverance and the value of education through her own academic pursuits while raising a family. This inspiration has fueled Ms. Reese’s determination to excel in her field.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Reese is actively involved in civic organizations, including her local city board and the charter school board. She has also dedicated 15 years as a youth director at her church, reflecting her commitment to community engagement and mentorship. Moreover, Ms. Reese remains a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Ms. Reese’s approach to law is deeply rooted in empathy and understanding. She strives to ensure that her clients feel heard and supported throughout their legal journeys. In the coming years, she plans to expand her firm by acquiring several attorneys who can provide value to her clients and the justice system.
