Before joining Hyundai Glovis, Ms. Yarbrough was a lead associate attorney at Scott and Associates in Montgomery County from 2021 to 2022. She previously served as an associate attorney for the organization between 2019 and 2021. Ms. Yarbrough’s legal acumen was also honed during her time as the general counsel for the Jefferson County District Attorney from 2017 to 2019. Earlier, she excelled as a business manager at the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office in Birmingham between 2011 and 2019, where she demonstrated her capacity for leadership and management.
Ms. Yarbrough’s career began with roles that included working as a grant administrator at the Office of Prosecution Services in Montgomery from 2008 to 2011. She started her career with the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office, initially as an intake clerk in the worthless check division in 2003 and then as a business manager at the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office between 2005 and 2008.
Highly educated, Ms. Yarbrough received a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2003, a Master of Public Administration from the University of South Alabama in 2005, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Birmingham School of Law in 2015. These educational achievements have been instrumental in her professional success, providing her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in her field. Ms. Yarbrough was admitted to practice by the Alabama Bar Association in 2016.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Yarbrough is deeply committed to civic engagement and volunteerism. She has held numerous positions within the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and USA Rugby, contributing significantly to these organizations through leadership roles such as director of college rugby for USA Rugby during a critical period of restructuring. Ms. Yarbrough’s dedication extends to creative pursuits as she crafts quilts for Quilts of Valor and children’s cancer hospitals, using her talents to bring comfort and joy to others.
Ms. Yarbrough’s accomplishments have been recognized with several awards, including being named an Outstanding Junior Member by the Needham Bryan chapter of DAR in 2015-2016 and receiving the Community Service Award for Excellence in Community Service from DAR in 2021.
