Her responsibilities included collaborating with land representatives, facilitating agreements with landowners, negotiating terms, and working with title and escrow companies during the closing process. This experience provided her with a solid foundation in her discipline that she brought to Western Midstream.
From 2018 to 2023, Ms. Falco honed her skills at Mazurek, Belden & Burke P.C., initially as an associate attorney before advancing to senior associate attorney. During this time, she specialized as a title attorney, drafting title opinions and lease acquisition opinions while assisting oil and gas developers with land acquisition or drilling operations. She also explored renewable energy aspects, gaining specialized knowledge in solar and wind leases. Her dedication led to her board certification by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in oil and gas and mineral law.
Ms. Falco began her career with the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2017, where she gained regulatory experience while awaiting the results of her bar examination. Her early career also included roles as a legal intern at the Law Office of Kathy Roux and Julya Billhymer, Attorney at Law, as well as a summer associate law clerk at Texas A&M University System.
Before embarking upon her professional path, Ms. Falco pursued a formal education at Texas A&M University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2014. She subsequently concluded her studies at Texas A&M University in 2017, graduating from the School of Law with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Laying the groundwork for her professional achievements, Ms. Falco’s determination to excel academically was fueled by her family’s strong work ethic and her personal drive to overcome challenges in her formative years, including dyslexia.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Falco is actively involved in several industry-related organizations including the State Bar of Texas, the San Antonio Association of Petroleum Landmen, the Women’s Energy Network, and The Foundation of Natural Resources and Energy Law. She is also renowned as a founding member of San Antonio Women in Business for Good in Grapevine.
