Panouses PA (now Panouses Law Group), a law firm dedicated to wills, trusts and estates in Indialantic, Florida, in 2019. From 2015 to 2019, she served as a judicial assistant to Judge David E. Silverman at the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in Melbourne, Florida. This role provided Ms. Silva with invaluable insights into the judicial process and deepened her understanding of the intricacies of the legal system.
Earlier in her career, Mrs. Silva was a certified notary signing agent with the National Notary Association between 2005 to 2015. This position allowed her to develop a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in document verification and authentication processes.
Ms. Silva’s academic journey laid a solid foundation for her professional achievements. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in management from Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota, a master’s degree in executive leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, which equipped her with the legal acumen necessary for her career. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Silva received the APEX Award. Her certifications as a notary public in Florida and as a Florida Supreme Court-certified county mediator further underscore her diverse expertise within the legal field.
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Silva is deeply involved in civic activities. She serves as a board member for the Women’s Center and actively participates in local boards focused on human trafficking prevention and fundraising for nonprofits. Ms. Silva’s philanthropic efforts include donating estate planning packages to single parents and contributing scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 to support their educational pursuits.
Throughout her legal career, Ms. Silva’s most remarkable achievement has been her successful ability to challenge the Offset Law, a statute in Florida that many have never contested, and a testament to her courage and dedication to justice. In light of her success, she was named Brevard County’s Best Estate Planning Attorney in 2024. She was subsequently recognized as one of Tampa Bay’s 40 Women to Watch by Tampa Magazine in 2025. Before pivoting into law, Ms. Silva’s hard work was recognized when she was honored as a Real Estate Sales Associate of the Month by Watne Realtors.
Looking ahead, Ms. Silva envisions expanding her career by introducing a coaching concept to empower single mothers and women married to military personnel or NFL players and alums. She is passionate about helping these women achieve their ambitions while maintaining their identities and nurturing relationships. Additionally, Ms. Silva plans to continue growing her law practice by expanding her two offices beyond their communities.
