Mr. Sciaccotta is an esteemed attorney who joined Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, a leading international law firm, in 2023. Before joining Kirkland & Ellis, Mr. Sciaccotta was affiliated with Dentons, where he rose from an associate attorney in 2016 to a managing associate in 2020 and senior managing associate between 2020 and 2023. Earlier, he garnered success as a judicial extern with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit from 2015 to 2016. Throughout his legal career, Mr. Sciaccotta has been fortunate to achieve remarkable success, delivering successful results for his clients. His extensive portfolio has included representing leading organizations in fraud, class action, antitrust, product liability, white-collar criminal matters, and many other areas of the law.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Sciaccotta received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Iowa and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from the Pritzker School of Law at Northwestern University, before being admitted to practice by the Illinois Bar Association. Besides his professional and educational accomplishments, he is a prominent member of the Chicago Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Justinian Society of Lawyers. Mr. Sciaccotta has also been active civically by lending his expertise in a pro bono capacity for Legal Aid Chicago and the Greater Chicago Legal Clinic. His success has been recognized with several accolades, including among the Best Lawyers’ Ones to Watch in America, as an Emerging Lawyer for Commercial Litigation by Leading Lawyers Magazine, and a 40 Under 40 Award from Chicago Lawyers.
