Mr. Gold’s tenure with TLD Law also included serving as a managing partner between 2011 and 2016.

Mr. Gold graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government in 1984. He later acquired a Doctor of Jurisprudence, with distinction, from the University of the Pacific in 1993. He was admitted to practice by the California Bar Association and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California in 1993. He also became a board-certified family specialist by the State Bar of California in 2005.
As part of his continued commitments to his field, Mr. Gold is a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, the Los Angeles Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Civically, he has engaged in various local initiatives and national nonprofits, such as the Orange County Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity International, the Alzheimer’s Foundation, Someone Cares Soup Kitchen and Second Harvest, among others. He also served as the president of the Downie Optimist Club from 1994 to 2010.
Highlighting his career success, Mr. Gold is an AV-rated attorney through Martindale-Hubbell. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers for Southern California every year between 2016 and 2021, The Best Lawyers in America for Family Law every year between 2021 and 2025, and received notoriety with a Press-Telegram/Grunion Gazette Readers Choice Award for Best in Family Law every year between 2022 and 2024. Mr. Gold attributes much of his success to his parents for instilling a drive to be the best version of himself. He also notes several teachers while coming of age for recognizing his potential and encouraging him to constantly strive for excellence. Moreover, Mr. Gold gives credit to his wife, who continually supports him.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Gold intends to continue practicing law and representing clients in their time of need, litigating cases with a high level of professionalism. Recognizing that he is tasked with overseeing cases when clients are often experiencing high levels of stress and uncertainty, he takes pride in knowing how important his role is in their lives at that particular moment. Besides his practice, Mr. Gold aims to finish writing and publishing his book.
