Initially joining his firm in 2013 as an attorney before making partner, Mr. Preston is respected as someone who strives to advocate for his clients’ best interests. His remarkable success stems from his exceptional expertise in accident law, personal and wrongful death litigation, mediation and arbitration, having resolved numerous cases for injured victims over $1 million each. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Preston has represented thousands of individuals injured from various accidents.

Having begun his legal career in 2011, Mr. Preston clerked for Dezer Development Baker McKenzie. He subsequently clerked for Baker McKenzie in 2012 and Warnock MacKinlay Law PLLC from 2012 to 2013. Before passing the bar, Mr. Preston began his career in commercial and industrial real estate with CB Richard Ellis (now CBRE) in Salt Lake City from 2007 to 2009.

Mr. Preston obtained a Bachelor of Science in business and human development at Brigham Young University in 2006, where he was also a collegiate football player. He also received a master’s degree in real estate development from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2010. Returning to college to pursue law, Mr. Preston achieved a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University in 2013. He has been admitted to practice by the Arizona and D.C. Bar Associations, the Arizona Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Mr. Preston also holds a remote pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Active in his professional community, Mr. Preston is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the National Trial Lawyers. Civically, he enjoys giving back to various charities, such as Smiles for Hope and Serving All Victims Everywhere, volunteering at his church, and providing pro bono legal services. Mr. Preston is also recognized as an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.

Recognized for his writing contributions, Mr. Preston authored two notable publications, “Had An Accident? Get Paid for Your Damaged Vehicle” and “Getting Justice After the Loss of a Loved One.”

In light of his success, Mr. Preston has been featured in several noteworthy publications, including Attorney at Law Magazine in 2023, in an article titled ‘Nate Preston: Taking the Lead on the Battlefield.’ He also garnered a multitude of accolades, including Most Influential Lawyer by USA Today, Power Lawyer by The New York Times, Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers, Top 1% of Advocacy Attorneys in America by Distinguished Justice Advocates, and Top Lawyers by Phoenix Magazine. Since acquiring Warnock MacKinlay Law PLLC, Mr. Preston has grown the business to a team of 50 dedicated staff members, overseeing approximately 100 new cases monthly.
