Beginning his career as a law clerk, Mr. DiMarinis worked in the corporate legal department at American Home Mortgage in 2006 before passing the bar. Subsequently, he was hired as an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Mitchell J. Devack PLLC from 2008 to 2013. He also worked as an attorney for Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada PC between 2013 and 2021.
In addition to his practice, Mr. DiMarinis frequently lectures at before professional bar associations, continuing legal education seminars, labor organizations and medical facilities.
Mr. DiMarinis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University since 2004 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Touro University Jackb D. Fuchsberg Law Center since 2007. While pursuing his law degree, he also interned for the Touro Law Center, a nonprofit corporate law clinic, in 2005, which provided him with in-depth experience in the field, and completed an international law and legal studies summer abroad program at Xiamen University in Chian from 2006 to 2007. Mr. DiMarinis remains affiliated with Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.
Active in his professional community, Mr. DiMarinis has been president of the Injured Workers Bar Association (IWBA) since 2023. His role in becoming president began as an at-large member before being named to the board of directors. His dedication and leadership led to his becoming elected secretary on the executive board, followed by the elected position of second vice president and first vice president. Besides his contributions to the IWBA, Mr. DiMarinis is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association. He has also been a member of the New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health since 2016.
Recognizing his commitment to his community, Mr. DiMarinis generously donates to organizations such as Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He also participates in the annual golf outing benefiting children with cancer and supports the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Dinner through IWBA, which supports college students.
Mr. DiMarinis’s hard work has been recognized as a Lawyer of Distinction for Excellence in the Practice of Workers’ Compensation Law every year between 2017 and 2021. While in college, he received the Scott Skodnek Endowment Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
