He concluded his academic efforts at McGill University in 2001, from which he graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in federal law and common law, with distinction. Mr. Ben Hamou has notably imparted his wealth of knowledge to others through his published works, including his monthly newsletter “O Canada! Seyfarth’s News and Practice Pointers on Canadian Immigration” as well as “What A Difference a Day Makes: A Closer Look at April 17, 2009” in 2010, “Amended Regulations Drastically Affect Canadian Temporary Foreign Worker Program” for Immigration Daily in 2010, and “Immigration Inbox: News You Can Use” in 2012.

Between 2023 and 2024, Mr. Ben Hamou was celebrated twice by HR Manage with recognition among the Top 10 Immigration Law Firms in the United States.
