With three and a half decades of experience, Dr. Milin has built a successful career in legal services, specializing in analyzing novel legal issues and developing creative strategies, with a focus on general commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Reflecting on his path, Dr. Milin’s most notable achievement is representing the court-appointed expert in the Calpine case, where they quickly produced an expert report for a five-billion-dollar dispute. He takes pride in managing complex litigation, including overseeing the investigation of Delphi, where hedge funds committed to financing its bankruptcy emergence were accused of market manipulation to avoid their obligations. He credits his success to hard work, a strong education, and valuable mentorship. In the coming years, he plans to expand his practice, particularly focusing on intriguing and unresolved legal matters. In addition to his legal pursuits, he looks forward to vacationing, reading, and satisfying his insatiable curiosity about life. His advice to others is to focus on the ultimate goal, not only aiming for the end game but also understanding the chances of success and strategically planning for litigation’s future outcomes.
