With over two decades of experience, Ms. Gardiner-Bess has built a successful career in legal services, specializing in contract law. Since 2019, she has excelled as the director of administration and counsel at Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corp., where she manages contract negotiations, drafting, and administrative processes. Her prior experience includes serving as contracts and risk manager at Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corp. from 2012 to 2022, and as a research assistant at the Center for International Law and Justice between 2009 and 2011. In 2010, she worked as a legal intern at the International Fund for Agricultural Development, and in 2009, she served as a judicial intern at the Caribbean Court of Justice. Earlier in her career, she was a business administrator at Freeport Roofing Co. Ltd from 2004 to 2007 and a clinical research coordinator at Triple O Medical Services from 2003 to 2004. She has also been an active member of the Christian Legal Society, the Florida Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel of Central Florida. She also serves as the director of diversity for the Central Florida Chapter of Women in Transportation Services and volunteers her time at Journey Church in Orlando, Florida. 

In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Gardiner-Bess was honored as an International Human Rights Scholar by Florida A&M University College of Law from 2008 to 2011. She laid a solid educational foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2003, a Master of Science in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida in 2008, and a Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2011. Additionally, she was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011. Reflecting on her path, she views every accomplishment as significant, whether it is fostering communication between departments or creating a new process to enhance efficiency. She believes that all these efforts, no matter how small, are exceptional because they collectively contribute to progress. She attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family and friends, as well as the guidance of mentors who recognized her potential and helped her advance quickly throughout her career.

In the coming years, Ms. Gardiner-Bess aims to contribute to the expansion and growth of Southeastern Survey. She is also dedicated to continuing her contributions to her community and family and aspires to become licensed in additional states, particularly those neighboring her current location, as well as in The Bahamas, where she is originally from. When advising aspiring professionals, she emphasizes that there are many paths to success. She encourages embracing every opportunity and using obstacles as stepping stones to reach the next level. She believes there is always a way to achieve your goals and advises not to impose limits on yourself.
