Company: Wilchins Cosentino & Novins LLP
Location: Wellesley, Massachusetts, United States

Michael Cosentino, founding partner at Wilchins Cosentino & Novins LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in civil and business litigation.

Building on 30 years in law and legal services, Mr. Cosentino co-founded Wilchins Cosentino and Novins LLP in 2013, through which he represents a wide range of clients, including small businesses, major corporations, wealth management firms, investment advisors and individuals. While Wilchins Cosentino and Novins’ 40 employees cover a breadth of practice areas, he specializes in business and financial services litigation. Prior to founding his firm, he excelled for nearly two decades as a senior partner with Seegel Lipshutz and Wilchins LLP, establishing his esteemed reputation as an aggressive litigation attorney.

A strong academic background forms the foundation for Mr. Cosentino’s success. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in history and government with a minor in philosophy from Clark University in 1986. In 1990, Mr. Cosentino earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law, where he also served as the editor-in-chief of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. He credits the trajectory of his career to his ability to communicate and his willingness to offer thoughtful advice to friends, colleagues and especially clients.

Dedicated to staying informed on the latest developments in law, Mr. Cosentino maintains membership in several industry-related organizations. He has co-chaired the securities enforcement and civil litigation committee of the Boston Bar Association’s Financial Services Section since 2019. He also holds membership in the New York State Bar Association, the Boston Estate Planning Council, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the USA 500 Club and multiple sections of the American Bar Association. Mr. Cosentino hopes to continue expanding Wilchins Cosentino and Novins in the future. His aim is not just to hire more people but to position the firm for long-term success with the next generation of lawyers.
