In these roles, he manages legal counsel, contract drafting and negotiation, dispute resolution, and technology implementation.
Prior to his current positions, he was active as special counsel at Jimerson Birr PA from 2021 to 2023 and served as counsel at Gartner, Brock & Simon from 2022 to 2023. His career also includes significant tenure at Regency Centers, where he served as legal counsel specializing in contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution from 2016 to 2021, and as litigation manager from 2009 to 2016. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable experience as an associate attorney in commercial litigation at Volpe, Bajalia, Wickes, Rogerson & Wachs PA from 2004 to 2009 and at Pappas, Metcalf, Jenks & Miller PA from 2003 to 2004.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Lesak pursued an education at Florida State University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the College of Business in 2000 and a bachelor’s degree in real estate from the same institution in 2000. He continued his academic efforts at the College of Law at Florida State University, where he obtained his Juris Doctor with high honors in 2003, earning six book awards during his time in law school.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Lesak was presented with the Golden Key Scholarship. Following these accomplishments, he completed his bar admissions to the Northern, Southern, and Middle District of Florida Federal Courts. He is also a board-certified real estate attorney through the Florida Bar as of 2023 and a licensed title agent. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains actively affiliated with various organizations. He is involved with the United Way and is a supporter of the Children’s School. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Mr. Lesak always envisioned a career in law, naturally inclined toward legal thinking, problem-solving, and logic. His commitment to providing better service to his clients led him to establish his own practice. Throughout his career, he has achieved numerous significant milestones, most notably attaining board certification. This demanding process required a thorough peer review and a rigorous examination. Additionally, as a young associate, he managed real estate-related cases valued at nearly $1 billion, further highlighting his outstanding legal acumen.
