Throughout her career she has encompassed significant roles first as an Associate at the Law Office of Clinton Killian from 1994-1997 and serving on the Juvenile Dependency Conflict Panel through the Alameda County Juvenile Dependency Court from 1997-2004.
On March 4, 2024, Ms. Brinkley officially announced her candidacy for Senate District 1, in North Las Vegas, NV. Her platform focuses on education, public safety, job creation and addressing professional job shortages in Senate District 1. She also co-founded the Conservative Town Hall of North Las Vegas with her husband, Garland Brinkley, focusing on Engaging, Educating and Empowering voters within their community. Along with her husband, they completed the North Las Vegas Police Department – Citizen Academy, a 10-week course on the procedures and training of a police officer. Looking ahead, Ms. Brinkley plans to remain actively involved in her community, sharing knowledge and contributing to the betterment of others.
