At Kubasiak, Fylstra, Thorpe & Rotunno, S.C., he contributed as partner from 2013 to 2015. He was of counsel at Miller Canfield, Chicago from 2015 to 2019.
Mr. Stein continued his career as attorney and of counsel at Lowis & Gellen LLP from 2019 to 2023. Concurrently, he was recruited as general counsel and chief compliance officer at Mydecine Innovations Group from 2021 to 2023. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history in 1970. He concluded his studies at George Washington University, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 1974.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Stein has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He was a member of the Lake County Illinois Regional Planning Commission for 10 years. He has been an active leader within the Neutral Township Democratic Organization in Illinois and supported the “President Obama for America” campaign. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the United States Supreme Court Bar.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Stein has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was inducted into Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. In the immediate future, he intends to continue advancing initiatives aimed at bettering the planet. This encompasses his dedication to climate improvement, the promotion of renewable energy sources on a global scale, and his commitment to fostering progress within the emerging health science industry. He actively contributes to ensuring that government facilitates this advancement through well-articulated and strategically placed regulations, ensuring a balanced approach to emerging medicines and therapies.
