Vivian M. Williams, Esq., DBA, LLM, MBA, Adjunct Professor of Business at Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in communication strategy.

With nearly 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Williams has excelled as adjunct professor of international business at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College since 2022. He began his career as president of VMW Law since 2004, and as a broker at The Williams Firm since 2006. His responsibilities and duties include offering a blend of law, economics, business, and crisis management to assess separate clients and prominent individuals in order to minimize risk and optimize opportunities.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Williams pursued an education at the University of Guyana where he earned a Bachelor of Laws. He obtained several advanced degrees from the Cardozo School of Law, including a Master of Laws in intellectual property and media law as well as a Master of Laws in intellectual property law in 2003. Moreover, he graduated with a master’s degree in international business from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a master’s degree in strategic public relations from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University, and a Master of Laws in global antitrust law and economics from Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University.

In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Williams remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Association.

One of Mr. Williams’ notable achievements is when he pioneered a television newscast in Berbice with a group of volunteers in his native Guyana. When he started his communications degree, he recognized that there was no significant news voice that represented the entire county. In response, he pioneered a television newscast with a team of volunteers.

Mr. Williams attributes his success to his strong desire to pursue a clear vision of who he wants to be and what he wants to do. Furthermore, he possesses the determination to overcome hurdles. In the immediate future, his primary goal is to scale his firm into an internationally recognized brand. Within the past year, it already opened divisions in the Caribbean, Guyana, and Trinidad. His vision is to grow it and to provide services globally.
