Prior to his current role, Mr. Williams served as a partner at Fertig & Gramling from 1996 to 2011, and began his career in law as an assistant state attorney at the Fort Myers State Attorney’s Office in 1994.
Mr. Williams initially studied business, management, marketing and related services at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from which he received a Bachelor of Science in 1991. Following this accomplishment, he went on to attend the University of Florida, where he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1994. He was admitted to practice law via the Florida Bar in 1995, and has been further admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Outside of his work in law, Mr. Williams is also a prolific presence in local politics, having worked on behalf of the Broward Republican Executive Committee as a member and general counsel, and on the campaign teams of several elected officials. Likewise, he is a regular commentator for several media outlets.
