Tamer B. Botros, Esq., General Counsel at Budget Rent-A-Car of Las Vegas, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in corporate law.
Mr. Botros has excelled in his role as general counsel for Budget Rent-A-Car since 2021, where he continues to develop his litigation skills. In 2018, he joined Resnick and Louis, P.C., as a senior associate attorney until 2019, when he advanced to the role of partner and maintained that position until 2021. He built his reputation as an outstanding attorney with Yellow Checker Star Transportation as associate counsel between 2009 and 2017, subsequently progressing to practice as senior litigation counsel until 2018.
Tenacity, perseverance, and dedication to hard work are how Mr. Botros defines his success and allowed him to attain his scholarly goals. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney in Australia in 2006. His passion for the law previously inspired him to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in political science at San Jose University in 2001. His education began at Mission College, from which he earned an Associate of Arts in liberal studies in 1999.
Mr. Botros was featured in Fortunes Business Review and Vanguard Law Magazine in 2023, in which he was recognized as a Defender of Legal Rights in Las Vegas. In 2018, he was presented with a Lawyers of Distinction Award. He has cited his proudest achievement as having the opportunity to argue before the Nevada Supreme Court.
Passionate about helping people in need, Mr. Botros volunteers for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, with which he specializes in family law. Since 2011, he has served as an arbitrator for the fee dispute committee of the State Bar of Nevada. He contributed to the board of directors of the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers between 2012 and 2018, with which he was a founding member. Between 2015 and 2016, he was active as a member of the citizen review board for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
