David J. McNab, judge for the Provincial Court of Alberta, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in criminal and family law.
Mr. McNab has cultivated a fulfilling career in the field of law, with nearly three decades of experience to his credit. Since 1995, he has served as a judge for the Provincial Court of Alberta, where he oversees cases pertaining to criminal and civil law, in addition to assisting with court technology projects. Ever committed to his profession, Mr. McNab also remains active on the board of governors at Keyano College, and he is a member of the American Judges Association and the Canadian Provincial Court Judges’ Association. In his civic-minded endeavors, he regularly volunteers with local ambulance services and the United Way.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. McNab pursued a formal education, originally completing coursework in political science and economics at Laurentian University in 1973. He ultimately achieved a Bachelor of Laws in the faculty of law at the University of Windsor in 1976. Attributing much of his success to his parents, who inspired him to remain involved in his community, he is most notably proud of his efforts in advancing court system technologies. To wit, he has participated in such efforts for over a decade. Looking to the future, Mr. McNab hopes to continue diligently serving others until he eventually retires.
