In addition to his key areas of expertise, Mr. Sotolongo and his colleagues also manage cases pertaining to car accidents, slip and fall injuries in the workplace, and sexual assault.
Prior to beginning his own law firm, Mr. Sotolongo excelled as an attorney at the Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. firm in Chicago, Illinois, from 2002 to 2005. In his other professional endeavors, he also operated as a bailiff for the Miami-Dade County Courthouse for several years. While he has assisted countless clients of various backgrounds throughout his time in the field, Mr. Sotolongo has primarily worked alongside medical providers, hospitals and other care facilities. Ever committed to his profession, Mr. Sotolongo also remains active as a member of the National Trial Lawyers Association.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Sotolongo pursued a formal education. Beginning his studies at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, he originally earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice in 1994. He ultimately concluded his studies at Nova Southeastern University, where he achieved a Juris Doctor in 2002. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Sotolongo has also been admitted to practice law by The Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
To commemorate his achievements, Mr. Sotolongo has been named among the Top 100 Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his efficiency and passion in his field, having always held a sincere desire to help others. To wit, his law firm is guided by his personal motto, “Because we care.” Accounting for his accomplishments, Mr. Sotolongo is notably proud to have aided one of his clients after her husband passed away due to improperly maintained hospital facilities.
