Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Grimm pursued an education at Seattle University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1968. He continued his academic efforts with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of San Francisco in 1971. Following these accomplishments, he was admitted to practice law by the Washington State Bar Association in 1971 and the State Bar of California in 1972. Mr. Grimm concluded his studies at New York University in 1988, graduating with a Master of Laws in taxation.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Grimm has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate professional circles. He has been additionally active as a board member for Seniors Making Art and a mentor with the University of Washington School of Law. A past member of the Court Rules Committee for the Washington State Bar Association, he is likewise affiliated with the American Health Lawyers Association and the King County Bar Association. As a testament to his outstanding undertakings, Mr. Grimm has been recognized as an AV-Preeminent Rated Attorney by Martindale Hubbell, an honor for which he received a 5.0 out of 5.0 rating among his peers.
Mr. Grimm attributes his success to his positive attitude and his desire to have fun while working with people, as he is a firm believer in finding a reason to laugh every day of his life. He was drawn to his field after witnessing an attorney doing a poor job on a hit-and-run case, as he knew he could do better, and remains motivated by his unwavering care for others. Among the many highlights of his career, he is particularly proud of being selected as a speaker at a celebration for Judge McGovern’s wife. Looking toward the future, Mr. Grimm hopes to continue practicing in his current capacity while cementing himself as someone who effectively put his plans into action.
