In addition to tackling a full caseload and working with numerous clients, he oversees various key management responsibilities, including oversight of the firm’s other attorneys and paralegals. Ever committed to his professional endeavors, Mr. Weiss also remains affiliated with the State Bar of Michigan and The Florida Bar. Well-regarded for his creative efforts as well, he is the author of the 1999 book, “The Farewell Principle.”
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Weiss pursued a formal education, originally earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education at the University of Michigan in 1976. He subsequently continued his studies at the University of Miami School of Law and achieved a Juris Doctor in 1980. In addition to his academic credentials, he also holds a teaching certificate and has been certified as a mediator by the Oakland County Bar Association. In his civic-minded endeavors, Mr. Weiss has served as a member on the board of directors of The ROS1ders Inc. for many years, and he was a youth basketball coach for 12 years. Likewise, he has participated within the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces for much of his career. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Weiss attributes his success to his passion for helping others.
